Dr. Joelle N. Herman
Dr. Joelle Herman was born and raised in Kindred, North Dakota. She became interested in chiropractic care through science classes and the idea of natural healing the body. She attended Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, South Dakota for her undergraduate, and continued her education at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota. Dr. Herman received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in November 2002.
In February 2003, Dr. Herman moved to the Wayne community, and also opened a satellite office in Pender, Nebraska. In addition to regular chiropractic care, she also specializes in pediatrics, pregnancy, and acupuncture. Dr. Herman is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association, and is an Integrity Management Doctor.
Dr. Joelle Herman lives in Wayne with her husband and two children, Kallan and Avery. Along with being active in the local community, she enjoys reading, listening to music, playing volleyball, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Sarah M. Peterson
Dr. Sarah is originally from Dakota City, Nebraska. She attended the South Sioux City Public Schools and graduated as a valedictorian in 2009. She then furthered her education at Wayne State College in Nebraska (Go Wildcats!) and graduated in May 2013 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her education continued to Cleveland University in Kansas City, Kansas, where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in December 2016, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She also received many awards for academic and clinical excellence in chiropractic school.
Dr. Sarah enjoys treating the entire spectrum of chiropractic patients. She has had a passion for chiropractic since she was in high school and her love for the profession grows every day! She is a member of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association and is an Integrity Management Doctor.
Dr. Sarah now lives in Wayne, Nebraska, with her husband and their dog, Abby. They enjoy doing activities with friends and family such as grilling out, going to movies, and playing sports. Dr. Sarah enjoys listening to inspirational podcasts and hopes to have one of her own someday (stay tuned!).
Dr. Tyler A. Peterson
Dr. Tyler Peterson grew up in South Sioux City, Nebraska. His interest in chiropractic began after being treated for sports related injuries during his middle and high school years playing golf and basketball. Dr. Peterson attended Wayne State College from 2010 to 2013, prior to starting chiropractic school at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas. Dr. Peterson graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biological Sciences and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April of 2017.
Dr. Peterson moved to Wayne in April of 2017 and began working as an associate doctor. Dr. Peterson combines the benefits of traditional chiropractic adjustments with the use of therapeutic exercises/stretches and IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) in order to achieve pain relief for his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Peterson enjoys weightlifting, watching Netflix, and taking his dog on walks.
